Competition Terms and Conditions

1. The competition is open from 30th March 2016 at 9am and closes on 1st June 2016 at 9am. All customers entering this competition will be entered into the prize draw. No purchase necessary.
2. To enter the competition you must visit www.merlinfun.com/asda and follow the online instructions. Internet access required.
3. Contact details provided will be used for the purposes of administering this promotion and not used for any further marketing purposes. Details may be passed to a third party for the purposes of administering the promotion only.
4. The Prize: There is 1 prize of a trip to London for a family of 4 (2 adults 18 years and over and 2 children under 12 years), including 4 tickets to Shrek’s Adventure! London, 2 Shrek goody bags, a trip on the Coca-Cola London Eye for 4 with Fastrack tickets, 4 tickets to Madame Tussauds London, SEA LIFE London Aquarium and the London Dungeon. Also included is 2 night’s stay in a Family Studio Room with breakfast at either the Park Plaza County Hall London, (1 Addington Street, London SE1 7RY) or the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge London (200 Westminster Bridge Road, London, SE1 7UT) plus family dinner at L’Italiano Restaurant at the Park Plaza County Hall or Brasserie Joel at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge. Drinks with the meal are not included. 1 winner will be drawn at random from all valid entries received between 30th March 2016 and 1st June 2016. One entry per customer. The draw will take place by 6th June 2016 and the winner will be notified by 13th June 2016 by telephone or in writing.
5. The winners and their companions are responsible for any expenses and arrangements not specifically included in the prize, including any necessary travel arrangements within the UK, facilities at the attractions, spending money, telephone calls, personal items, merchandise and souvenirs, incidental costs, any additional hotel rooms, all alcoholic drinks, meals or refreshments, or taxes or expenses which may be incurred by the winners in claiming the prizes.
6. Dates must be mutually agreed between the winner and Merlin Entertainments. Merlin Entertainments shall have the right to approve or disapprove the selected dates in its absolute discretion.
7. Dates are subject to availability. Weekends and some peak periods may be unavailable. The choice of hotel is subject to availability.
8. The prizes must be claimed and trips taken by 30th November 2016, subject to availability.
9. Prizes are valid for up to 4 people. All entrants and the winners must be 18 or older or have signed authorisation form from a parent or guardian who must be in attendance for the trip. Proof of identity and age may be required. Entrants from the UK only.
10. Prizes can only be used as stipulated, are not transferable to another individual and cannot be exchanged for cash or used in any other way. Sale of the Prizes for profit is prohibited. Prizes cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or ticket. Prizes must be taken as a complete package. Any purported or attempted transfer or sale of or other misuse of the day entry tickets will render them automatically void.

12. In the event of circumstances outside its reasonable control, Merlin Entertainments reserves the right to amend or alter the terms of the prizes at any time but will always endeavour to minimise the effect on participants to avoid undue disappointment.
13. In the event of a prize being unavailable, Merlin Entertainments reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value. Tickets will be dated.
14. Size, height, weight, age restrictions and medical warnings apply to certain rides and attractions. The attractions reserve the right to refuse entry and to close and/or alter all or any part of the facilities including closure of rides and/or attractions and removal of figures for technical, operational, health and safety or other reasons including overcapacity.
15. This competition is not open to employees or families of the promoter and other connected parties
16. For names and counties of all prize winners send an email to promotions@merlinentertainments.biz with the subject line Asda Competition Winners within 2 months of the Promotion close date.
17. It is the responsibility of the prize winner to supply the correct personal information and the correct postal address. The Promoter will not be liable for non-delivery of prizes caused by the provision of wrong information, postal disputes or other causes beyond its control.
